Audi Releases a 10.2-inch Android Tablet

Audi Android TabletAudi is a well known car brand in the United Kingdom and it would soon release a 10.2-inch tablet for its customers in the country. Audi owners in the UK could use the so-called “Mobile Audi Smart Display”, which could be connected to the car through standard WiFi interface. Rear passengers are able to control the in-car infotainment system using the tablet. The device also offers a complete Android experience and it also designed for extreme temperatures ad crash resistance.

The modular infotainment system allows customers in the UK to easily update the software and hardware; so that in the next five years, drivers will not be stuck with 5-year old technology. This should address one of the most frequent complaints about infotainment system, that is software solution in cars tend to become obsolete as the model falls by the wayside.

Audi new cars are true technological marvel, since they are equipped with the Virtual Cockpit, which replaces the full-color LCD display with its cluster of gauges.
