Acer recently announced that the Iconia W4 tablet will be available in European countries, including United Kingdom, on the end of January. It will be priced at 299 Euro or around £250. It will be running the full version Windows 8.1 operating system and powered by Intel 4th generation 1.8GHz Atom processor. The tablet should be compact enough for users to hold with one hand. The Acer Iconia W4 includes Office Home and Student and it is usable for users with no additional expense. This makes the ultra-slim tablet and adequate device for managing documents.
The IPS panel provides consistent brightness, color reproduction and sharpness until up to 170 degrees. With the Zero Air Gap technology, there’s no air present between the LCD module and the touch panel; improving readability under sunlight and reducing reflection. The 5Mp camera on the back is equipped with autofocus capability and could record 1080p videos at 30 fps or 720p videos at 60fps. The 2Mp front-facing camera is usable for standard video call session.
There are multiple accessories customers could purchase with the tablet. The Acer Crunch Keyboard could fold out easily to serve as a stand. The Acer Crunch Cover can prevent dust and some amount of humidity to enter the ports. The Acer Power Bank adds four hours of additional battery life and is reasonable portable.
