  1. Google Nexus 8 and Nexus 10: The current Nexus 7 is priced at £199; but with Amazon Kindle Fire and Tesco Hudl undercutting it, Google’s budget tablet is now seen as a more expensive model. It is expected that Google will go bigger this year by offering new Nexus 8 and Nexus 10 models.
  2. Apple iPad Pro: Under Steve Jobs; Apple strictly followed specific design sizes. But the iPad Pro and iPhone 6; the company will offer us bigger things. With its 12.2-inch or 12.9-inch display and detachable keyboard, the Pro will be a good alternative for MacBook Air users in the UK.
  3. Tesco Hudl 2: The first Hudl was clearly a big hit in the UK in 2013. The major retailer will surely ride the wave of success by releasing an enhanced version. We don’t know what the new Hudl will offer but it could have stronger processor and higher screen resolution. But, Tesco may still need to ensure than the new tablet isn’t much more expensive than £119.
  4. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX+: The tablet already has powerful hardware specs, so the HDX+ could innovate more in software solution. Amazon could offer a number of new enhancements on its heavily forked flavor of Android, such as better MayDay implementation.
