Any iPad model that Apple releases always receives overwhelming praises and racks up impressive sales record. They are typically more powerful, thinner, smaller and lighter than the competition. The latest model is called the Apple iPad Air and it seems to imply the shift the company’s strategy in the mobile market. Apple may aims to close the gap between the iPad and MacBook lineups.
It has been suggested that the iPad Pro will be Apple’s next iPad model and as of today, it is still in the works.
It is more difficult to predict what the iPad Pro might be and it would be interesting to see how the new tablet could be distinguished from its predecessors. It is rumored that the company already settles on a larger 12.9-inch display and this could strike us just about right. The tablet will be nearly similar to the 13-inch MacBooks and we will have three categories in the iPad family, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 9.7-inch standard iPad and 7.9-inch iPad Mini.
The TouchID wasn’t included with the iPad Air and Apple may reserve the option for the upcoming iPad Pro. In fact, we could be sure that within a couple of years, the fingerprint scanner will be available in all new iOS devices.
