Acer Iconia B1 Will be Another Sub £120 Tablet Model

Acer Iconia B1With CES 2014 event about to begin in the US, tablet users in the United Kingdom could already see some pre-show announcements. One device that could eventually arrive to the UK would be the Acer Iconia B1. It has a suggested price of around £80 in the North America, but could be slightly more than £100 in the UK.

If true, it could be a real competitor to models released by Tesco and other retailers in the country. The Iconia B1 seems to strike a good balance between performance level and price tag. It will be driven by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor of an unknown model; but it won’t be too surprising if it comes from MediaTek. The B1 also has 7-inch display with One Glass Solution design, but we still can’t be quite sure about the exact pixel count. Equipped with 1GB of RAM, the tablet should be able to handle any task thrown at it.

The 2560 x 1600 screen resolution to be used by the tablet is pretty common for high-end 10.1-inch models on the market. The South Korean company could also plan to deliver the same resolution to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).

Other hardware components to be included with the tablet are 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, 2Mp front-facing camera and 8Mp rear-facing camera. Samsung is likely to include the Android 4.4.2 OS with the tablet.
