The huge Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2-inch has finally up for order in the United Kingdom, while its sibling the Galaxy Tab Pro is heading for the local market too. Samsung UK starts the preorder from Tuesday, January 28. The first 300 buyers would get a £90 worth of gamepad for free. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t told us when the device would be dropped to our letterbox.
The Galaxy Tab Pro will arrive in a variety of sizes, from the oversized 12.2-inch model to the standard 10.1-inch model to the reasonably more compact 8.4-inch model. The Galaxy Note Pro only arrives in one model, 12.2-inch.
These Android devices were first introduced during the earlier tech extravaganza, the CES 2014 event.
While the current Samsung Galaxy phablet family is pushing the boundary between smartphone and tablet, the new Note Pro does the same for sub-notebook and tablet. The Note Pro boasts a WQXGA screen resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio. Hardware-wise, the tablet will be powered by either the Samsung Exynos 5 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. Only units equipped with the latter could access the high speed 4G LTE data connection. It also has 3GB of RAM, 2Mp front-facing camera, 8Mp rear-facing camera and up to 64GB of internal storage.
